03 / ABOUT
I'm a wildlife cinematographer and adventure photographer based in Florianópolis, Brazil. My work brings together natural history, underwater imagery and life outdoors, with a focus on science communication and conservation. Alongside filmmaking, I study Biological Sciences at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), where my research at the Marine Biogeography and Macroecology Laboratory (LBMM) focuses on reef fish communities.
A childhood fascination with nature documentaries eventually led me behind the camera. A photographic expedition to the southern Pantanal in 2023 helped shape that direction. I began making wildlife films in 2024, starting with two independent shorts about burrowing owls and a volunteer documentary on the reintroduction of brown howler monkeys to Santa Catarina Island.
From August 2025 to February 2026, I worked with Ciliares Produções in Fernando de Noronha, photographing boat trips and filming diving operations. As a PADI Divemaster, I bring diving experience to my underwater camera work. In 2026, I joined the Tabuiaiá Films crew for a documentary about the renewal of the scientific station on the São Pedro and São Paulo Archipelago, filming on a remote oceanic expedition.
Back in Florianópolis, I photograph and film rope techniques, training and outdoor activities for Vertical Life 8. My experience spans wildlife observation, underwater filming, aerial imagery and editing. I work with production teams and develop independent films, bringing a background in biology and practical field experience to each story.
